Lyft Emblem: How to Identify a Lyft Driver
A few months ago, I thought to myself, “the mustaches are cool and all, but if Lyft wants to keep up with Uber, they definitely need to make a change.” And after receiving my new Lyft emblem in the mail, it looks like they have done just that. The emblem is a simple piece of plastic that fits comfortably in a plastic sleeve that sticks to the bottom right corner inside your windshield. All you do is slide it in when you’re in driver mode, and take it out when you are done.
If you are a driver and want a smaller mustache in addition to the emblem, don’t worry. Headquarters has thousands of them on order, and will ship them out around the country when they come in.
Don’t want to put it on your car while driving? Then you’re out of luck. Both the emblem and the Cuddlestache will be required when driving for Lyft. You know, to identify you so riders don’t get in some random stranger’s car.
What happened to the Carstache?
The iconic pink ’stache remains dear to all of our hearts, and for those of you lucky enough to have one, you are completely able to rock it as proudly as ever.
Headquarters listened to feedback from drivers who felt the Carstache could be improved, and designed the emblem to be lightweight, easy to attach, and, since it goes on the inside of your car, 100% rain resistant.
If you don’t know what the new emblem looks like, you are in luck! I took a picture of mine. See below to see what the new Lyft emblem looks like!
